Larry Wheels William uploaded a picture on Tuesday evening from a hospital bed and disclosed that he is suffering from Rhabdomyolysis. The powerlifter, strongman, and bodybuilder gained prominence due to his extraordinary size and impressive strength achievements in powerlifting. Throughout his career, he also explored bodybuilding and arm wrestling. In 2018, Wheels made his entrance into bodybuilding by competing in the NPC Gold Coast Muscle Classic, where he clinched gold. Now, a return might be imminent following a successful spell in various other fitness pursuits.

About a year ago, Wheels began undergoing medical evaluations by doctors. After over a decade of steroid use, Wheels chose to gradually move off gear and start using testosterone replacement therapy. While on TRT, Wheels has frequently shared physique updates, showcasing his shredded appearance and muscle growth.

Beyond the gym, Wheels has been working towards opening his own gym. This would be Wheels’ inaugural gym, fulfilling a significant aspiration. He teamed up with Ryan Benson of Team Zero Gravity to achieve this goal. The gym will be named “OG Gym,” standing for One Generation.

Rhabdomyolysis is a severe condition where damaged muscle tissue breaks down and releases the protein myoglobin into the bloodstream. This release can harm the kidneys. Continuous fluid replacement through an IV can help prevent kidney damage.

Larry Wheels developed a passion for fitness at a young age. He has been lifting weights for years and subsequently advanced to become a professional powerlifter. By 2017, Larry had set two world records and inspired many along his journey. Larry is now recognized as one of the world’s strongest powerlifters, with a substantial following.

Not one to be satisfied with merely succeeding as a top-tier powerlifter, Larry Wheels was eager to demonstrate the extremes to which the human body can be pushed. He ventured into competitive bodybuilding (while maintaining his powerlifting routine), akin to former Mr. Olympia champion, Ronnie Coleman, or fitness icon, Mike O’Hearn. Larry has always been known for his impressive physique compared to most powerlifters. It was time to test it against other bodybuilders.

Larry Wheels will continue receiving appropriate treatment to manage this condition. Fit Journey Now extends wishes for Wheels’ swift and safe recovery during this period.
