Kali Muscle persists in cautioning others about the perils of steroid use: “Don’t assume it can’t happen to you.”
Kali Muscle, a former bodybuilder, has dramatically transformed his way of living. He has abstained from substances for many years and has overhauled his diet as well. Kali continues to shed weight and improve his health while sharing insights from his past, including his heart attack.
At a young age, Kali was an exceptional athlete who debuted in the bodybuilding arena in 2009. He exhibited an extraordinary physique with impressive size and definition. In 2010, aiming to turn professional, Kali increased his size further with the right coaching, leading him to escalate his steroid use to perfect his body. In 2021, Kali experienced a heart attack caused by a blocked left artery.
Since then, Kali has taken a stand against the use of steroids and bodybuilding culture due to its detrimental practices. He has continuously warned others about the risks of certain supplements while detailing his personal experiences.
Kali Muscle Emphasizes Prioritizing Health
Kali Muscle appeared on Anabolic Doc YouTube channel for an interview, where he delved into the health complications he faced due to steroids.
“Health issues always frightened me. I’ve had concerns since I was young. My right ankle and foot used to swell with water, which always worried and scared me. Even during shows, I would take diuretics and observe that my foot wouldn’t appear as shredded and firm as desired.”
Kali Muscle persistently advises against using steroids if they are not necessary, including testosterone if levels are normal.
“Don’t think it can’t happen to you. I thought, you know, I was immune because I cycled off every 3-4 months a year. I believed I was eating healthy, but in hindsight, I wasn’t. It’s unnecessary.
If your testosterone is adequate and you’re aged 35-40 with normal levels, avoid it. There’s no need. Just maintain a healthy diet.”

During his heart attack, Kali Muscle was following a vertical diet endorsed by Stan Efferding, centered around beef and rice with broth. Amid this, Kali confessed to consuming an ice cream sandwich despite lactose intolerance, which triggered a discomfort.
“It felt like I was awakened from the dead. I was in a deep sleep and suddenly jolted awake. Something was amiss. It felt like heartburn, and I asked my wife for some heartburn medication. The only way it felt better was sitting on the couch on my knees, which eased the burning sensation slightly.
After approximately 30 minutes in that position, I experienced cold sweats and began vomiting intensely like never before.”
Kali Muscle has overhauled his lifestyle and asserts that he has never felt better. He now advocates for others to prioritize heart health.
