Carrot Top Spills His Sin City Fitness Secrets on Joe Rogan’s Podcast

Carrot Top talks about dedicating 3 hours daily to gym sessions to gain significant muscle mass while residing in Las Vegas.

As shared by American performer and comic Carrot Top, spending multiple hours at the gym each day is the key to developing significant muscle mass. Currently, the celebrated actor/comedian maintains an ordinary build, standing at 5-foot-9-inches and weighing around 140 pounds. However, during his stay in Las Vegas 15 years ago, he was noticeably bulkier, tipping the scales at over 190 pounds.

For those who’ve been resistance training for some time, this accomplishment is nothing short of remarkable. Achieving such muscle growth without enhancements is challenging. So how did this professional tackle being mistaken for a bodybuilder? In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Top mentioned that committing to 3 hours daily at the gym contributed to his transformation. During the interview, when Rogan inquired about his physical change, Top explained:

“How did I bulk up? I’ll tell you. It happened when I secured that permanent gig. With little else to occupy my day in Vegas, I started consistently hitting the gym. I’d work out for three hours every day. This was 15 years ago, and I was massive. One day, I went to my warehouse for something and just thought, ‘what the heck?’ — I was like 190 pounds, and now I’m down to 140. That’s my original fighting weight.”
