Ariel Khadr Biography
Ariel Khadr was born as an only child, and her parents instilled the values of discipline and hard work from an early age. Ariel began gymnastics at the tender age of 11, where her discipline proved incredibly beneficial.
Her natural talent in gymnastics also introduced her to martial arts, leading Ariel to earn a black belt in Taekwondo, the pinnacle of martial arts ranking. Additionally, she gained a spot on Rutgers University’s gymnastics team on a scholarship, further showcasing her talent.
Before heading to college, Ariel decided to explore a new path, turning to bodybuilding. Initially, she competed in Figure competitions but soon realized her true potential lay in Fitness competitions.
Ariel Khadr’s Early Competitions
Ariel experienced immediate success in fitness, clinching the 2009 NPC Team Universe Fitness competition at just 17, earning her IFBB Pro Card and becoming the youngest to qualify for professional fitness competitions.
Despite her success, Ariel took some time off to return to her first love, gymnastics, utilizing her scholarship at Rutgers University.
However, recurring injuries prevented Ariel from sustaining the high physical demands of gymnastics, prompting her to refocus on Fitness competitions at the age of 19.
The Professional Journey
Post her gymnastics stint, Ariel returned to the bodybuilding world, making her pro Fitness debut at the 2015 Europa Phoenix Pro, where she impressively secured third place—remarkable for a pro debut.
Her journey didn’t stop there. She competed at the 2016 Toronto Pro, which paved the way for her first Olympia appearance, where Ariel ranked seventh in the Fitness Division—a notable achievement for a debut.
Ariel continued to qualify for the Olympia, competing again in 2017 and 2018, maintaining her seventh-place finish.
Undeterred by three consecutive seventh-place finishes, Ariel took a strategic year off to refine her physique, a common approach among competitors. Her return in 2020 was marked by success, finishing second at the Fitness International and winning the Tampa Pro. This improvement was evident in her fourth-place finish at the Olympia.
