Andrew Tate asserts he has never used steroids but relies on his own “super drugs.”
Ex-kickboxer turned controversial figure Andrew Tate is currently confined to his home in Romania. He recently engaged in a five-hour discussion on the PBD Podcast, covering topics from his time in incarceration to his health. During this talk, Tate disclosed he relies on his “super drugs” of nicotine and caffeine while consuming only one meal a day.
Tate transitioned from prison to house arrest in late March. He had been detained in Romania for several months under allegations of human trafficking and organized crime. Though the inquiry persists, Tate secured an appeal in March to shift his detention to house arrest.
Tate first attracted public attention when he appeared on the UK version of Big Brother. During his stint on the show, he faced backlash for making controversial remarks about race and sexuality. Before this, Tate was a champion kickboxer, with a career beginning in 2005.
Tate continues to rigorously train and maintain his physique using unconventional methods.
Andrew Tate’s Daily Diet: 15 Coffees, 3 Cigars
Whilst incarcerated, Andrew Tate encountered health concerns. Doctors needed to examine a dark spot on his lungs, prompting him to have a procedure done in Romania. They performed a biopsy on the section of his lungs and concluded it was not cancerous.
During this examination, doctors informed Tate that he had no lung damage from smoking, which came as a surprise.
“It was quite reassuring to hear that I have zero smoke damage in my lungs. Zero? I’d accept a slight amount. I’ll take a little. I think it’s because I train diligently every day. I workout daily. I train hard each day. You burn it off, a few cigars here and there. You know, it’s not cigarettes. I believe cigars are better than cigarettes.”
In the absence of cigars, Tate turned to cigarettes while in prison. He disclosed that he continued adhering to this regimen in prison by obtaining sufficient coffee and nicotine.
Tate states he has never taken steroids or pills but relies on his so-called “super drugs.”
“I also think nicotine is a super drug, so I’m not stopping. I believe in nicotine and caffeine.”
“Nicotine and caffeine are my energy sources. That’s what sustains me. Coffee is for closers, bro. I consume about 10-15 cups of coffee daily and 2-3 cigars. I only eat once a day.”
Alongside his cigars and coffee, Andrew Tate manages to fit in one meal a day, generally in the evening, predominantly comprising meat.
“People see my physique when I post pictures and ask, ‘What’s your diet plan?’ and I’m like, ‘bro, cigars and coffee.’ I eat once a day. I have dinner, and 80-90% of my calories come from meat. I’ll have like three steaks for dinner.”
Andrew Tate’s Testosterone Levels Are Above Average
Amid various tests run on Andrew Tate, he also mentioned that his testosterone levels were evaluated, and he scored above average.
“I’m not going to pretend to be an expert on male hormones because I’m not. I don’t understand them. I don’t know the units of measurement, but the normal range is between 9-27. I’ve never taken steroids in my life. I don’t inject anything. I don’t take any pills, nothing. I was at 32. I was above the normal range, and I’m 36 years old. It’s supposed to be declining.”
This type of lifestyle and diet may not be for everyone, but it seems to work for Tate.
“I’m not sure if it’s genetics, but that’s just how I feel my best. If I smoke and drink coffee continuously, I feel hungry, which energizes me, and I feel lively. It’s an energetic hunger. That’s how I like to feel. When I eat, I just get tired.”
