Brian Shaw Unveils 2024 Earth’s Strongest Man Lineup

Two positions are still open for the 2024 Mightiest Man On Earth.

Esteemed strongman Brian Shaw is set to host the 2024 Shaw Classic Expo once more. Throughout this weekend, the competition for Earth’s Mightiest Man will be conducted. Over the weekend, the four-time World’s Strongest Man (WSM) champion, Brian Shaw, took to YouTube to disclose the complete list of competitors for the event.

The 2024 Mightiest Man on Earth will occur from Aug. 17-18 in Loveland, CO. Participants will compete in eight events over a span of two days. A total of 16 competitors will have the opportunity to vie for the title.

“I do not make these invitations lightly. There are many factors to consider when deciding who gets invited.”

In 2023, Shaw obtained the trademark “Strongest Man on Earth” from Paul Ohl, the original Fortissimus organizer. This Strongman competition was held in 2008 and 2009 before a lack of sponsors led to its suspension. Ohl kept the trademark all these years, and now Shaw owns it, crowning his first winner in 2023.

Shaw is dedicated to this event and is committed to ensuring the highest caliber of competitors.

“Maintaining the contest’s integrity is, by far, the most important thing.”

Hafthor Bjornsson marked his return to Strongman in March at the Arnold Strongman Classic, securing a fourth-place finish and aiming for higher. The Stoltman Brothers are also set to compete, with Luke Stoltman recently winning the Europe’s Strongest Man title and Tom Stoltman being a former WSM champion.

Oleksii Novikov, also on the roster, was compelled to withdraw from the 2024 WSM competition for reasons unknown. Despite dealing with injuries, Novikov never specified a reason publicly.

Brian Shaw has officially announced this roster and will soon fill the remaining two spots. This event promises another showcase of the world’s top strongmen competing for glory.
