Edward von Moger, sibling of Calum Von Moger, has tragically been found deceased after going missing on Thursday.
Edward Von Moger has been confirmed deceased following his disappearance last week. A body was discovered along the beach shoreline on Monday in Anglesea, Australia as law enforcement initiated a search for Edward, the brother of Calum Von Moger. He was last observed on Thursday.
Reported by Daily Mail UK, Magistrate John Bentley announced that von Moger had heartbreakingly passed away over the weekend.
“He’s deceased,” Bentley remarked about Von Moger. “He was a wonderful person. The charges are dismissed. There’s media attention due to his brother’s fame.”
When the body was located, the human remains’ identity was not immediately verified. A police spokeswoman mentioned that the remains would undergo further analysis to ascertain any link to Von Moger’s vanishing.
“The remains will be transported to the coroner’s office for examination,” she stated.
Authorities Searched for Edward Von Moger
Edward Von Moger was last spotted on Thursday, March 2nd 2023. Law enforcement found his vehicle on Friday afternoon on Ellimatta Road in Anglesea. They collaborated with Air Wing, Search and Rescue Squad, and Life-Saving Victoria teams during the search operation.
On social platforms, Calum Von Moger requested followers assist the authorities in their efforts.
“My little brother Eddie is missing,” Calum posted on Instagram Saturday.
He was last seen three days ago on Thursday, March 2 around 8am.
Please if anyone has seen or heard ANYTHING from him or has any information on his whereabouts please let me know and contact Geelong Police Station.”
Calum Von Moger returned to Instagram at the start of 2023 to share his renewed path, including a fitness regimen and nutrition plan. Von Moger is aiming to make improvements after facing public scrutiny over recent years.
In May, it was disclosed that Calum Von Moger leaped from a second-story window while affected by methamphetamine. He endured multiple injuries, including cuts from the glass and spinal trauma from the fall. He was hospitalized, underwent spinal surgery, and was in a coma for several days.
